David Spade Donates $100,000 To Tornado Victims
David Spade has donated $100,000 to help the survivors of a string of tornadoes which struck America's Midwest and southern states last week.
Missouri and Illinois were among the areas hit when the storm struck, and 39 people are reported to have lost their lives.
The American Red Cross is spearheading the disaster relief fund, and the Joe Dirt star - who donated money to the organization last year - has handed over his own cash to help boost the fund.
He says, "I hope this will help to keep the focus on those in desperate need right now and that others will join me in donating what they can to support the widespread disaster relief efforts of the Red Cross."
A statement from the Red Cross reads, "David Spade has once again demonstrated selfless compassion and kindness to assist those in need. This generous contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross continues to offer shelter, food, emotional support and relief supplies to the thousands of people devastated by disasters in America's heartland."
