Michael JacksonTwo men have been arrested and charged with hacking into Sony Music's computers and stealing Michael Jackson's back catalogue.

Sony record company bosses purchased the music collection from the King of Pop's estate for $250 million back in 2010 but the label's archive was infiltrated by cyber crooks in April last year, and they illegally downloaded more than 50,000 digital files.

Two suspects were taken into custody by members of Britain's Serious Organized Crime Agency for their alleged involvement the following month and in September Jackson fans James Mark, 26, and James McCormick, 25, were charged with computer misuse and copyright offences.

The duo appeared at Leicester Crown Court in England on Friday and pleaded not guilty.

Mark and McCormick were released on bail and are set to stand trial in January, 2013, according to the Associated Press.

The entire haul of Jackson tracks is said to include a duet with the late Freddie Mercury and a collaboration with Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am, as well as unheard material from various studio sessions.
