Late 'Amazing Race' Producer Jeff Rice Had 'Major Levels Of Cocaine' In His System
A TV producer found dead in Uganda had "major" levels of cocaine in his system, according to a local police report.
Jeff Rice was found unconscious in his hotel suite in Kampala last week, with his assistant Catherine Fuller, also unresponsive, nearby.
They were taken to a nearby hospital, where The Amazing Race producer was pronounced dead. Fuller is currently listed in critical condition.
Officials conducting an autopsy found "major metabolites of cocaine" in the 39 year old's blood stream, while police reports suggest a small bag of white powder allegedly containing "opiates classified as drugs of abuse" was discovered in his suite.
Ugandan investigators have ruled out foul play following rumours Rice and his colleague had been poisoned.
