"Puss In Boots" centers on the events preceding the famous sword fighting cat's encounter with Shrek and his friends.    

Swashbuckling feline Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) fights to save his town with the help of Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) and Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis).

Chris Miller, the writer/director of "Shrek the Third," helms this spinoff about the beloved character.  Brian Lynch, David H. Steinberg, Tom Wheeler, and Jon Zach all teamed up to pen the screenplay.  Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris also join in the fun.      

If you always thought Puss in Boots was one of the best parts of the "Shrek" films and you can't get enough of him, you should check out this new release.

Antonio and Salma grew to hate each other as they traveled the world promoting the film. The couple conducted 739 interviews in 11 days when the film came out last year.

Banderas joked earlier this month, "By the time we were in Sydney, we wanted to kill each other - because we knew exactly what the other was going to answer.. We were just so tired."
