Former supermodel Christie Brinkley is reprising her Chicago role for the Los Angeles stage.

The former wife of rocker Billy Joel has played Roxie Hart in the musical on Broadway and in the West End - and now she's bringing her theatrical debut to Los Angeles' Pantages theater.

Brinkley, who first played Hart in New York last year, will take to the stage in Los Angeles in May.

Last year, she revealed her ex-husband pushed her onto the stage and was far from surprised when her stint on Broadway was a big hit.

She said, "Billy and I would be cooking in the kitchen, doing Broadway shows all the time - singing and dancing."
