Nicolas Cage is keen to make a sequel to his 2006 movie flop "The Wicker Man."
 
The actor received nothing but criticism for his role in the remake, which barely broke even, but that hasn't stopped him from considering playing Edward Malus again.
 
He tells Empire magazine, "I would like to hook up with one of the great Japanese filmmakers, like the master that made Ringu, and I would like to take The Wicker Man to Japan, except this time he's (Malus) a ghost."
