Nick Jonas Turns Spare Bathroom Into Makeshift Studio; Says Jonas Brothers Planning New Album
Nick Jonas has transformed a bathroom in his rented New York apartment into a makeshift studio, so he can work on new music during his stint on Broadway.
The Jonas Brothers pop star is living in the Big Apple while he performs in hit musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and he's refusing to let his music career suffer while he's onstage.
He has set up a series of microphones and guitars in one of his shower rooms.
Giving a New York Magazine reporter a tour of his pad, he quips, "I'm going to suggest people use the bathroom downstairs. One wrong step and you're electrocuted!"
And Jonas will be putting the temporary recording space to good use - he recently revealed he is planning to reunite with his bandmates and siblings Joe and Kevin to work on new music together later this year, with a view to releasing the trio's first new material in three years by the end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013.
