Monty Python Funnymen To Reteam For New Movie
The often-feuding members of the Monty Python comedy troupe are setting their differences aside for a new live action movie.
Michael Palin, John Cleese, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam have already signed on for the science-fiction comedy, which Jones will direct - and project insiders claim producers are close to landing Eric Idle as well.
Absolutely Anything will follow the exploits of a man who is given the power to do whatever he likes by aliens.
The Monty Python stars will lend their voices to the out-of-this-world characters.
Jones tells Variety, "It's not a Monty Python picture, but it certainly has that sensibility."
Comedian Robin Williams will also be part of the cast - he'll provide the voice for a talking dog, called Dennis.
Absolutely Anything is scheduled to go into production this spring.
