Singer Seal is refusing to let his shock marriage split get in the way of work - he's facing the media to promote his new album SOUL 2.
The British star has already taped interviews with U.S. hosts Tavis Smiley and Ellen DeGeneres - a day after he and wife Heidi Klum confirmed reports suggesting they had split.
And he's not steering away from the shock news.
In his chat with late-night host Smiley, which will air in America on Friday, Seal was asked about the break-up and insisted that he and Klum would be handing their affairs with love and consideration for their kids.
Asked how he and his now-estranged wife will make sure the split doesn't become a messy divorce and custody battle, he stated, "We're just not those kind of people," adding, "What one has to do in this situation is to remain civil, to retain one's dignity, to be professional, and to understand that we are not the only people on this planet that are going through this."
Seal was reportedly all smiles when he taped an appearance on DeGeneres' daytime show on Monday. That interview will air today.
