Rock icon Neil Young is recording a new album with his longtime backing band Crazy Horse - their first studio collaboration in almost a decade.
Young announced the news to fans during an appearance at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah over the weekend.
The rocker first worked with the members of Crazy Horse in the late 1960s and they last worked together on 2003's Greendale. They last played together in 2004, according to RollingStone.com.
It's not the only reunion Young is working on - he reteamed with his Buffalo Springfield bandmates last year for a handful of festival shows and the group is now making plans for a 30-date tour.
