Johnny Depp has been named America's favorite actor for the second consecutive year.

The Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End star beat out movie veteran Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington to top the annual Harris Poll, which also ranks Tom Hanks at four and late icon John Wayne at five.

Dirty Harry legend Eastwood has not featured in a movie since 2008's Gran Torino and has instead turned his focus to directing, taking charge of 2011's J. Edgar.

The top 10 is rounded out by George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, Harrison Ford, Will Smith and Adam Sandler.
