Reality TV star Tila Tequila is converting to Judaism. The star, real name Tila Nguyen, has decided to change her religion and is taking classes at a temple in New York City so she can become a Jew. 

She tells TMZ.com, "As time passed, I started to become more and more fascinated with Kabbalah, the culture, and the way of life.  I just feel like the Jewish people have such a beautiful way about them, and I can't wait to officially be Jewish! Shabbat Shalom."

But Tequila has no plans to become an Orthodox Jew in the near future, insisting she wants to study Kabbalah - the offshoot faith practiced by stars like Demi Moore and Madonna - first.

She adds, "I feel Orthodox is a little hardcore for me at this stage."
