Melissa McCarthy has snubbed the idea of making a "Bridesmaids" sequel without Kristen Wiig.
Reports suggest executives at Universal are keen to follow-up the film's success with a second movie, but star and co-writer Wiig appears not to be interested, prompting speculation the film may go ahead without her.
But it now appears another break-out star of the 2011 film will also turn down a return if movie bosses cannot persuade Wiig to reconsider.
McCarthy, who played horny Megan in the hit comedy, says, "I think it's a terrible idea (to do it without Wiig)."
But she insists she would be happy to sign on for a sequel if the original cast does: "I will show up wherever those ladies are."
