Matt Damon Pulls Out Of Directorial Debut
Actor Matt Damon has pulled out of his directorial debut due to "scheduling conflicts."
The We Bought a Zoo star teamed up with John Krasinski to co-write the project and he originally planned on stepping behind the camera to direct the untitled drama, however he has now dropped out after realizing he won't have enough time for the job.
Damon will still have a star turn in the film but Good Will Hunting director Gus Van Sant has since signed as his replacement.
Van Sant hopes to begin shooting the movie this spring, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
