Taylor Swift Lands 'Les Miserables' Role Over Scarlett Johansson & Lea Michele?
Taylor Swift and Amanda Seyfried are in talks to complete the star-studded cast of director Tom Hooper's "Les Miserables" movie adaptation.
The singer and the "Mamma Mia!" star are set to join Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne and Helena Bonham Carter in the much-anticipated film musical, which is scheduled to start shooting this spring.
Theatre news website BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed that Swift is in negotiations to play Eponine and Seyfried is slated to play Cosette in the project.
The site previously reported that "Glee" star Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood were also vying for the coveted role of Eponine.
The movie musical is set to open in theatres in December.
