The Jonas Brothers singer checked into the emergency room at Children's Hospital Los Angeles with severe cramps in his abdomen, according to TMZ.com.

It followed a night of partying in Chicago, Illinois.

The website reports the star was only at the hospital for a short time, and there are no details of the cause of his condition.

He was later seen eating out at a sushi restaurant with his brother and band mate Nick on Sunday evening.
