Matt Damon wore an ugly christmas sweater while appearing on the "Today" show yesterday.The actor showed off his holiday spirit with a very colorful santa sweater, complete with 3D santa heads on the sleeves.

Matt Lauer, Ann Curry, Al Roker and others on the show also donned ugly sweaters.

Matt was promoting his new film, "We Bought A Zoo." The film centers on a widower who purchases a zoo in order to bring his family back together. The movie is based on Benjamin Mee's autobiographical memoir and also stars Scarlett Johansson.

Damon is the co-founder of Water.org, an organization that works to supply clean water to the nearly 1 billion people who lack access. He just created a hilarious holiday video to raise awareness for his cause. Damon plays Santa Claus and tries to convince kids that they should ask for water bottles as gifts – as $10 from the sale of each bottle supports Water.org’s mission of providing clean, safe water to those in need.
