Emma Stone, Diane Kruger and Selena Gomez have been honored as three of the most fashion-forward stars of the year.
 
Bosses at the E! network have compiled their annual "Top 10 Stylish Stars of 2011" and all three made the cut.
 
British royal Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, topped the list for her "classic" composure, "Easy A" star Stone came in second and "Inglourious Basterds" actress Kruger was third.
 
Rounding out the top five were singer Gomez and "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively.
 
Also receiving nods were Jennifer Lopez who gained attention for her "jaw-dropping" looks, Zoe Saldana, Mila Kunis, Emma Watson and Jennifer Aniston.
 
"Twilight" favorite Kristen Stewart failed to make the exclusive short-list, but editors gave the young actress an honorable mention for stepping up her red carpet style.
