Singer Sinead O'Connor has stunned fans after announcing plans to marry on Thursday - her 45th birthday.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hit-maker has confirmed she will exchange vows with Barry Herridge, just four months after she detailed her frustration at being single in a column for an Irish newspaper.
O'Connor took to her official blog on Wednesday to share her happy news, writing, "With enormous joy myself and my beloved boyfriend Barry Herridge will be getting married tomorrow, December 8th 2011 at 'an un-disclosed location' in my absolute dream wedding ceremony."
The Irish star also assured fans she'll share her wedding album, adding, "We will post a photo or two here on the site as soon as possible afterward. Very happy girl."
According to the Irish Independent, Herridge works as a children's addiction counselor.
It will be O'Connor's fourth trip down the aisle - she was previously married to music producer John Reynold, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad and musician Steve Cooney.
