'Breaking Dawn' Sinks Its Teeth Into Another Number-One Weekend At Box Office
The latest installment of hit vampire franchise "Twilight" continues to slay the competition at the U.S. box office after grossing $42 million in its second week on release.
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, remained the most popular movie among Americans over the Thanksgiving weekend, boosting its domestic total to date to $221.3 million.
The film continues to draw the crowds worldwide too - weekend box office sales outside the U.S. grossed $71.5 million.
Meanwhile, Jason Segel's new family movie "The Muppets" debuts on the chart at two with $29.5 million.
"Happy Feet Two," "Arthur Christmas" and "Hugo" round out the top five.
