"The Amazing Spider-Man" co- stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have confirmed speculation they're an item offscreen by publicly holding hands during a day out in New York.

"The Social Network" actor and "The Help" actress have been rumored to be romancing each other since they were cast as love interests in the reboot of the webslinging franchise earlier this year.

And now they have put the rumors to rest by walking through the Big Apple's East Village hand-in-hand.

The pair shared jokes and gazed lovingly at each other, while Stone placed her arm on Garfield's and later clutched his hand.
