Eddie Murphy is using press interviews around his new movie "Tower Heist" and his Oscars hosting gig to help promote a potential boxing clash between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
A big fight fan, Murphy recently hung out with Mayweather, Jr. in Las Vegas and he insists he's a longtime supporter of Pacquiao - and he can't wait for the two boxers to sort out their differences and get in the ring.
And Murphy's interest has been spiked by the news Mayweather, Jr. has tentatively booked the MGM Grand in Las Vegas next May for the big fight.
Appearing as a guest on late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" alongside Pacquiao on Thursday, the funnyman said, "I'm like everyone else; I can't wait to see him and Floyd to get in the ring and do it once and for all.
"They have to do it... As long as they don't lose a fight, it's not too late... I can't wait to see it. I get excited just thinking about it.
"Manny, come on now, you're gonna do this... Manny's ready and Floyd's ready too. Let's do this!"
