KISS rocker Paul Stanley is recovering after undergoing vocal surgery on Tuesday.
The singer has been touring with the band for nearly four decades and after putting so much stress on his body, the 59 year old opted to have medical treatment to prevent further complication.
Doctors expect the star to make a "swift and complete" recovery.
Releasing a statement to CNN on Wednesday, Stanley said, "I hold myself to a higher standard than others do. With that in mind, I wanted to remedy a few minor issues that come with 40 years of preaching rock 'n' roll."
