Australian actress Emily Browning was so "squeamish" filming medical scenes for erotic thriller Sleeping Beauty; she feared she would pass out on set.

Browning plays Lucy, a young college student who joins a high-class prostitution service, in the controversial drama, but Browning insists stripping off was nowhere near as terrifying as acting out medical tests and trials.

She says, "I remember reading the first scene where Lucy is having a tube put down her throat and I had a very visceral response to that, it made me panic a bit. I'm really squeamish and I did say: 'If this tube has to be in my chest I might faint.'"

"Even watching when the opening credits run and hearing the gloves snap bugs me still."
