David BoreanazA representative for David Boreanaz is adamant the actor will never accept a lucrative offer to be the face of a cheaters' dating website, insisting the remarks that led to the proposition were misconstrued.
The "Bones" star confessed to cheating on his wife Jaime Bergman with Tiger Woods' alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel last year.
He seemingly hinted that the affair had made his marriage stronger, allegedly telling Australia's TV Week, "(The affair turned into) a bonding experience, in the long run... In a sacred ground like marriage, you find yourself out of it at certain times for reasons unknown that can be destructive. There could be a demon that kind of comes out and overtakes you... Do I believe in giving up? No, I don't. I'm a fighter. I'm a lover."
His remarks caught the interest of bosses at - an online dating service for people who are already in relationships - who offered him a $250,000 deal to become the company's spokesperson.
However, Boreanaz's publicist insists the actor would never consider the offer, because his comments about his affair were "taken out of context" during a press conference for his hit TV show.
The rep tells E! Online, "This is an absurd story and not an opportunity that would ever be entertained. David did not talk directly to TV Week. His recent quotes were from a press conference on behalf of Bones and taken out of context."
