Rhea Perlman Joins Kirstie Alley’s Sitcom 'The Mazanis'
Former Cheers co-stars Kirstie Alley and Rhea Perlman are reuniting for a new TV comedy series.
The pair, famous for their roles as manager Rebecca Howe and mean-spirited waitress Carla Tortelli in the long-running hit, are now teaming up for a new small screen project.
Perlman has signed up to appear in Alley's new pilot The Manzanis, about an American Italian family living in a quiet New Jersey neighborhood.
She will play the mother-in-law of Alley's matriarch character.
