Kristin Davis Becomes A Single Mom, Adopts A Baby Girl

"Sex And The City" star Kristin Davis has become a mother after adopting a baby girl.
The single actress, an ambassador for poverty organization Oxfam, became the legal guardian of little Gemma Rose Davis a few months ago after filing her application through a U.S.-based adoption agency.
Davis tells People.com, "This is something I have wanted for a very long time. Having this wish come true is even more gratifying than I ever had imagined. I feel so blessed."
The 46 year old's life has imitated art - her "Sex and the City" character, Charlotte York Goldenblatt, adopted a daughter named Lily from China in the hit series' 2004 finale.
