Diddy Denies Being Involved In Tupac Shakur's Murder

Sean Diddy CombsHip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs has blasted fresh allegations linking him to the murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur in 1996.

The hitmaker was killed after a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas 15 years ago, and a new book by former Los Angeles Police Department detective Greg Kading revisits the case of Shakur's death and that of his music rival, Combs' protege Notorious B.I.G.

Kading spent three years as the head of a special police unit set up to investigate Biggie's death in Los Angeles in March, 1997 and in his new tome, "Murder Rap," claims he coaxed confessions out of associates close to Combs and Shakur's Death Row Records boss Marion 'Suge' Knight, alleging the two moguls were each responsible for hiring hitmen to kill their respective rivals.

The retired cop accuses Combs of recruiting Los Angeles gang member Duane Keith 'Keffe D' Davis to murder Shakur, while Knight reportedly took revenge by ordering Wardell 'Poochie' Fouse to shoot dead B.I.G.

Kading claims to have taped confessions from Davis and an ex-girlfriend of Knight's to back up his allegations, but Combs, who is said to have offered Davis $1 million for the hit, has slammed the writer for making false allegations.

He tells AllHipHop.com, "The story is pure fiction and completely ridiculous."

The murders of both Shakur and B.I.G. remain unsolved.
