Salma Hayek & Catherine Deneuve Forced To Stand At Paris Fashion Week Show
Actresses Salma Hayek and Catherine Deneuve were forced to stand throughout a Balenciaga fashion show on Thursday after the benches for the audience began to collapse.
The stars were among the attendees in the front row of the Paris Fashion Week presentation - alongside Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Hayek's billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault.
The entire audience was asked to stand before the show even began after four benches gave way, dumping high-profile guests on the floor.
A reporter for Women's Wear Daily posted a photo of the celebrities on their feet, alongside the caption, "Benches are breaking ahead of the Balenciaga show - workers shuttling in replacements."
But the unexpected incident failed to put a dampener on the runway show - designer Nicolas Ghesquiere received a rousing ovation after the presentation.
