Rapper Petey Pablo Heading To Prison Over Firearms Conviction
Rapper Petey Pablo has been sentenced to serve 35 months in prison following a firearms conviction in North Carolina.
The "Freak-A-Leek" star, real name Moses Barrett III, was arrested after security officers at Raleigh-Durham International Airport found a loaded gun in his carry-on luggage in September, 2010.
He agreed to plead guilty to possession of a stolen firearm if prosecutors dropped charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and a charge of attempting to take the gun onto an airplane.
The 38 year old was sentenced on Monday.
