The cast of hit drama show Mad Men raised money for a rape crisis center in California by hosting a gala brunch in the state on Sunday.
Stars of the Emmy-winning TV series, including Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss, all turned out for the event, held at the home of a local businessman in Beverly Hills in aid of the Rape Treatment Center.
Spider-Man actor J.K. Simmons, who stars in TV show The Closer, acted as master of ceremonies at the brunch and took the chance to poke fun at the Mad Men actors, telling the crowd, "Today it is my privilege to introduce them, the men and women who are the spectacular cast of - it says here - 'the best drama series on television.' We'll call it a tie."
John Slattery joked about guests having pictures taken with the cast, adding, "I'm told that the going rate is a thousand dollars. But I'll remind you that we just won the Emmy for (the) fourth time in a row," according to Variety.com.
