Actress Mariel Hemingway's request for a restraining order against her business manager has been rejected.

The Star 80 star filed papers alleging Mike Wittlin has sent her inappropriate sexual messages and uses vulgar and offensive language around her.

In the documents, Hemingway claimed Wittlin was "overly aggressive and hostile in his manner" and told a judge she feared for her safety, reports TMZ.com.

But Judge Carol Boas Goodson has rejected the request, insisting the level of the alleged harassment and threats is not sufficient enough to warrant a restraining order.
