Evanescence star Amy Lee fears she and her ex-lover and former bandmate BEN MOODY will never speak again - because it's best they have no correspondence.

Guitarist Moody quit the band in 2003 during a European tour following a bitter bust-up with Lee, and although he attempted to patch things up in an interview last year, stating he left in a bid to save the band and apologized for trying to force his ex out instead, she has no plans of meeting up with her former boyfriend.

Lee tells Spin magazine, "We don't talk. We don't have a relationship... I think we're probably both better off not being in each others' lives."
