Heavy metal rocker Zakk Wylde has won a temporary restraining order against an obsessed neighbor he alleges is harassing him.
The Black Label Society star claims he has become "terrified" of the 20-year-old man in recent months and he was recently forced to call police to his home after one close encounter with the neighbor. The male, who has not been identified, was subsequently ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.
In official documents, obtained by TMZ.com, Wylde claims the man was "deemed mentally ill" and was diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder. Wylde also says that the man left him a "sacrifice" at his home.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has approved a request for a temporary restraining order, ordering the fan to stay 100 yards away from the rocker and his family.
The case will return to court next Friday, when a judge will decide if the protective ban should be made permanent.
