Adele And Jessie J Lead Q Awards Nominations

Adele British singers Adele and Jessie J are leading this year's Q Awards with three nominations each.

The Chasing Pavements hit-maker and Jessie J will battle it out for the coveted Best Female Artist award, while Adele also has two songs, Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You, in the Best Track category.

Jessie J has been named as a possible winner for both Breakthrough Artist and Best Video for her Do It Like A Dude single.

The Best Video category also includes nominations for Katy Perry (Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)), Foo Fighters (Walk), Ed Sheeran (You Need Me, I Don't Need You) and Lady Gaga (Judas).

Arctic Monkeys are also leading the charge with three nominations, in the categories for Best Track (Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair), Best Album (Suck It And See) and Best Act In The World Today - alongside Muse, Coldplay, Kasabian, U2 and Arcade Fire.

Beyonce will battle it out with Elbow, Biffy Clyro, Coldplay and Chase & Status for the Best Live Act trophy.

The winners will be revealed during a ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on October 24th.
