Tyler Perry

Actor/director Tyler Perry has been named the highest paid man in entertainment by the bosses at money magazine Forbes.

Perry raked in $130 million in a year, thanks in part to his popular TV shows House of Payne and Meet the Browns, and he has catapulted to the top of Forbes' annual list of Entertainment's Highest-Paid Men.

Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer came in second place with $113 million and legendary director Steven Spielberg took the third spot with $107 million.

Rounding out the top five were Elton John ($100 million) and former American Idol judge Simon Cowell ($90 million).

Other notables on the list included Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio, who nabbed a spot at number eight ($77 million), and radio personality Howard Stern ($76 million) landed in ninth spot. Tiger Woods came in 10th on the new rich list with a $75 million fortune.
