Pete DohertyBritish rocker Pete Doherty paid tribute to his late pal Amy Winehouse by singing the star's "Tears Dry On Their Own" hit during his set at Leeds Festival on Friday night.

The former Libertines frontman became close friends with the Rehab hitmaker in 2007 and they are believed to have supported each other as they battled their drug demons.

He admits he was left "bewildered" by her death last month, and he honored the late star during his headlining slot at the English event, singing a rock version of Winehouse's moving hit from her "Back to Black" album.
