Rocker Bret Michaels is suing a cruise operator over allegations bosses used "a fraudulent scheme" to get him to reduce his fee for two agreed performances.
The Poison star signed up to play a pair of gigs in November on a luxury liner off the coast of Miami, Florida for a reported $750,000 fee. After he received an initial payment of $250,000, Michaels alleges the firm began complaining about poor ticket sales in a fraudulent bid to lower his fee.
He filed suit against bosses at Shoreline on Monday, blaming the promoter for failing to fulfill "contractual obligations".
Michaels is seeking damages, court costs and attorney's fees, according to TheWrap.com.
