Designer Michael Kors is set to make the most of New York's new gay marriage laws by exchanging vows with his longtime partner.
Kors and Lance LePere were spotted at City Hall in the Big Apple applying for a marriage license on Wednesday - just weeks after new legislation made official gay unions legal.
A source tells Life & Style magazine, "They were both very casually dressed. He (Kors) was really nice and let the girls at the office take his picture."
The style king, who is also a judge on Heidi Klum's Project Runway show, and his partner became close in the early 1990s when LePere was hired as an intern at Kors' company in Paris.
