Actress Paz de la Huerta has been ordered to undergo alcohol counseling after pleading guilty to a charge of harassment relating to an altercation earlier this year.
The Boardwalk Empire actress was accused of throwing a glass at reality TV star Samantha Swetra and punching her in the face during a night out at a New York club in March.
She was later charged with a series of assault misdemeanors and slapped with a temporary restraining order in April for allegedly inflicting "severe" physical and emotional injuries upon Swetra.
On Thursday, De La Huerta pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was ordered by a judge to complete a day of community service and undergo 12 weeks of alcohol counseling.
And De La Huerta is grateful to put the matter behind her.
She tells the Associated Press, "(I'm) extremely glad this is over."
