TV tattooist Kat Von D is refusing to remove her inking of ex-boyfriend Jesse James.

The former husband of Hollywood star Sandra Bullock called off his engagement to Von D this month, but despite their split she is determined to keep the ink design of James, which was taken from his high school yearbook.

She tells TMZ.com, "I love my tattoo. It's more than just a portrait, it has a lot of meaning."
 
The pair, who began dating two months after James divorced Bullock last year, became engaged in January and were originally planning a summer wedding.
