Filmmakers behind a planned biopic about the life of tragic AC/DC frontman Bon Scott have been given a big boost after receiving development support from the Australian government.
Director Eddie Martin and producer Lizzette Atkins have been piecing together magical moments from the rock icon's life with the help of the star's family and friends.
News of the film first hit headlines in 2008, and it just received development support in the form of single draft funding from Screen Australia, the film fund supported by the country's government.
Casting details for the biopic have yet to be finalized.
Scott died of acute alcohol poisoning in 1980, aged 33.
