Latin pop star Prince Royce was the big winner at the Univision Network's Premios Juventud Awards in Miami, Florida on Thursday, walking away with four top honors.
The singer opened the show at the University of Miami's BankUnited Center in spectacular style with Daddy Yankee, performing the reggaeton rapper's song Ven conmigo (Come With Me) with 1,200 dancers taking part in a futuristic light show.
The night continued to go well for Royce as he walked away with accolades for Red Hot Artist, The Super Tour, My Tropical Artist and My Favorite Video for his hit Corazon sin Cara (Heart Without a Face).
Rapper Pitbull was a triple winner at the event, which was hosted by America's biggest Spanish-language TV network - his track Bon Bon claimed honors in the categories of Catchiest Tune and My Ringtone. He was also named the Fan Favorite My Urban Artist.
Shakira and Ricky Martin landed one award each - the Hips Don't Lie hit-maker emerged triumphant on the Best Moves shortlist, while Martin won the Follow Me trophy for his presence on social networking sites like Twitter.com.
Spanish actor Antonio Banderas, who attended with his wife Melanie Griffith, was presented with the Supernova prize for his lifelong work inspiring and encouraging Latin American youths to follow their dreams.
