Matthew Morrison is set to appear in his first big film role since becoming a global star on Glee in new ensemble cast comedy What To Expect When You're Expecting.

The Broadway star got his big TV break on the hit musical series, and although he had previously enjoyed small film roles in Music and Lyrics and I Think I Love My Wife, the new project will be his first leading part.

Morrison will use his dancing training to play Evan, who teams up with co-star Cameron Diaz's character on a celebrity dance show, which leads to the pair expecting a baby.

The movie is a star-studded affair - it also features Jennifer Lopez, Chace Crawford, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Kendrick and Chris Rock.
