"Glee" star Chris Colfer is still recovering after learning the upcoming season of the hit TV show will be his last - via Twitter.
Show creator Ryan Murphy told the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter that Colfer, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith will be among the stars who 'graduate' the high school musical series at the end of the upcoming third season.
But it appears he didn't let Colfer know before making his big announcement.
The shockers singer/actor tells news show Entertainment Tonight, "I looked on my Twitter replies and that's how I found out, I was like, 'Oh, OK, I guess they announced something.'
"We had kind of known since the beginning, since we started the show, that these characters were going to grow up and they were going to graduate eventually. I don't think I thought it was going to happen so soon, necessarily, but I think we knew something like this was coming."
But the shock was replaced by sheer joy on Thursday morning when Colfer picked up an Emmy nomination for his supporting role on "Glee."
