Latino stars Calle 13 are set to stun fans with their latest video, in which frontman Rene "Residente" Perez is shot in the head at point blank range.
The bloody promo for "Muerte en Hawaii" opens with slow motion footage of Perez and his girlfriend running along a white sandy Hawaiian beach as a pretty ukelele-based tune plays, but it quickly becomes apparent the singer and his partner are running for their lives as gunshots kick up the sand around their feet.
The couple keep running to the ukelele soundtrack until Perez is sent reeling by a bomb blast, which costs him his left arm.
Spurting blood all over his screaming girlfriend, Perez tries to escape his hunter, who shoots his partner in the stomach - but he finds himself staring down the barrel of a gun.
As the camera pans out, it becomes clear that the aggressor is a man in a dolphin suit.
The video ends with a dead Perez lying in a pool of his own blood.
The promo was shot by Alejandro Santiago Ciena, who also filmed the band's banned video for Calma Pueblo.
