"Twilight" star Kellan Lutz has adopted a new hobby - he's hooked on skydiving after taking the plunge for the first time.
 
The actor was celebrating his holiday weekend in New York's Long Island when he signed up for the daredevil experience to get an extra adrenaline rush.
 
Taking to Twitter to share the thrill with his fans, Lutz posted a picture of himself strapped into his security equipment, prepping for the jump.
 
In a caption accompanying the photo, he wrote, "Loved the flips & trix (tricks)... Best 4th of July weekend! Jumping out of planes, my favorite new hobby! Get Some, Got Some, Getting More!"
