Anne Hathaway isn't the only star getting catty for Batman - actress Eliza Dushku has landed the role as the animated Catwoman in a new DVD release.

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star will play Selina Kyle, aka femme fatale Catwoman, in Batman: Year One, which hits video stores and the Internet in October.

She joins a cast that includes Ben McKenzie as a young Bruce Wayne/Batman, Bryan Cranston as Lieutenant James Gordon and Katee Sackhoff.

Hathaway is currently dressing up as Catwoman for the latest Christopher Nolan Batman blockbuster, The Dark Knight Rises.

Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer have also played the purr-fect Batman sidekick on the big screen, while Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt played Catwoman on TV in the 1960s.
