Charlie Sheen is set to make his return to American TV with a comedy roast on the same day Ashton Kutcher takes over as the leading man in Two And A Half Men.
Sheen was fired from the sitcom earlier this year after he hit headlines with a series of bizarre antics and a public feud with the show's creator Chuck Lorre. Kutcher was hired to replace him and his debut episode is set to air in the States on September 19th.
It has now emerged Sheen will also return to TV that evening in a roast for the Comedy Central network. The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen will be taped on September 10th and air on the same night as Kutcher's Two and a Half Men show.
Sheen says in a statement, "You could say I've been providing kindling for this roast for a while. It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic."
Other stars to have been roasted by Comedy Central in the past include Joan Rivers, Pamela Anderson and William Shatner.
