British pop star Cheryl Cole has fueled rumors of a reconciliation with her ex-husband Ashley Cole after they were photographed together at her birthday party in London on Friday night.

The Girls Aloud singer, who recently exited the judging panel of Simon Cowell's American The X Factor show, split from the soccer player last year amid rumors of his infidelity, and their four-year marriage officially ended in September.

Cole's representatives recently denied rumors of a reunion, but the former couple stepped up speculation about their relationship after they were seen together during the singer's 28th birthday celebrations.

The star hosted a party at London's Sanderson Hotel for guests including the Black Eyed Peas, who arrived at the bash after headlining the Wireless Festival in the city earlier that night, and England International Cole was photographed at the bash.

In pictures obtained by Britain's News of the World, the sportsman is seen standing close to Cole as she chats to Fergie and will.i.am.

During the party, will.i.am presented Cole with a lavish birthday cake and she was seen partying with the Black Eyed Peas stars as well as several of her Girls Aloud bandmates.
